Lance named "Guardian of Small Business" by NFIB

Council has announced that State Representative Lance Kinzer (R-Olathe)
will be awarded that organizations coveted "Guardian of Small Business
Award. Commenting on this recognition Rep. Kinzer said, "I am deeply
honored by this award. NFIB is an outstanding organization. Small
Businesses are the backbone of the Kansas economy; I remain committed
to working with NFIB and others to make Kansas a great place to operate
a small business. Our entrepreneurial small business men and women
provide the jobs that allow Kansans to support their families and
pursue their dreams. They deserve a tax and regulatory climate that
makes it easier to continued to grow their businesses."
The National Federation of Independent Business is the largest advocacy
organization representing small and independent businesses in
Washington, D.C., and all 50 state capitals. NFIB was ranked the most
influential business organization (and 3rd overall), in "Washington's
Power 25" survey conducted by Fortune magazine.
NFIB's purpose is to impact public policy at the state and federal
level
and be a key business resource for small and independent business in
America.
