The Kansas Chamber recently released its 2009 Pro-Business Honor Roll. In recognizing Rep. Kinzer and other Honor Roll recipients the Kansas Chamber released the following statement:
The Kansas Chamber would like to congratulate the 2009 Pro-Business Honor Roll.
These legislators recognize the necessity of a strong business climate to help the state's economy recover and flourish.
The mission of the Kansas Chamber is to make Kansas the best state in the nation to do business. The 2009 Pro-Business Honor Roll members supported the efforts of the Kansas Chamber more than 80 percent of the time with key votes on core business issues such as: the omnibus and mega appropriations bills, tax policy, energy, environment and regulatory affairs, business development, and campaign finance.
Additionally, the Honor Roll represents those legislators who consistently worked to strengthen our state's economy by promoting sound business policy in their committees, through their communications, and by their efforts both in Topeka and in their home communities.
Promoting a strong business climate and preventing additional costs for employers will grows jobs in Kansas and speed our state's economic recovery. We applaud the 2009 Pro-Business Honor Roll for working with the majority of legislators to move this agenda through the statehouse, achieving better economic policies for Kansas . Together we are making Kansas the best state in America to do business.
