REPRESENTATIVES TO HOST STEM CELL RESEARCH BRIEFING
Topeka - Kansas House of Representatives Brenda Landwehr (R-Wichita) and Lance Kinzer (R-Olathe) announced today they and Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann of the Kansas Catholic Conference will hold an educational briefing about stem cell research tomorrow, March 22, 2007 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Room 313-S at the Statehouse. State Legislators also have been invited to attend the educational briefing.
The briefing is intended to clarify and highlight issues in the debate taking place in the Kansas Legislature concerning human cloning and embryonic stem cell research. It will include the showing of a video entitled “The Science of Stem Cells Finding Cures and Protecting Life”.
Reps. Landwehr and Kinzer, Archbishop Naumann and others will answer questions following the video.
